Night Diver Specialty Event, Bainbridge Scuba Center, Oct. 11, 2008 What a great day/evening on the dive site, with blue sky and sunshine to warm everyone's thoughts. This was our second annual Night Dive Event for divers to acquire their specialty certification in this new and different means of experiencing our local dive site. Of course, these skills and this experience will benefit any diver in any night diving situation and is very worthwhile training. We had eight students complete their Night Diver cert: Mike G., Kevin B., Christina B., Ed M., Matt M., Bob C., Pete S., Jim S. Many thanks to Instructor Sherri S., and Divemasters Mark B., Jeff S., and Mike L. for their very capable participation. Of course we couldn't have held the event without Jim & Linda G. of York Divers; thanks for your never-ending support of training divers in south-central PA! There were others in attendance, just for the night dive and their contributions to the party can't be overlooked...thanks Ed & Teresa and Tom & Colleen! We finished off the evening with a roaring bonfire, scuba munchies including dogs and s'mores, as well as some seasonal Halloween sweets! Two dives: 53' max depth for 56 minutes and 60' max depth for 51 minutes. Look for our next event on Saturday, November 15th at BSC, Discover Dry Suit diving.
