Discover Dry Suit, Bainbridge Scuba Center, 15-Nov-2008

What a not-so-great weather day on the dive site, well, at least on dive #3!  Despite the forecast and the crazy rain on Friday, we had two very nice Discover Dry Suit dives in the morning under partial sunshine and blue sky!  This dry suit confined water training experience (conditions, depth, visibility) in an open water site gave our divers the real-world perspective on diving dry, versus using the pool setting, for their first dry dive and skill development.  We had 10 divers don dry suits to brace against the cooling waters of BSC; surface temp was about 55F.  As of this writing, five of these divers will complete their Dry Suit Specialty training on December 7, (Adam, Ed, Mike, Jeff and John) before and during the York Divers' annual UW Christmas Tree Decorating event.
