Advanced Open Water, Bainbridge Scuba Center, Sep. 8-9, 2007 Jeff S. & Sherry S. (Divemasters) joined me for this class of four students who earned their Open Water certification this summer, and were ready to move up to the next level of training. Dave & Arlene M., Christina B., and Josh S. were all fully prepared and engaged in our five-dive weekend at BSC. We had a hot Saturday followed by a welcome reprieve from the heat on Sunday. Training dives completed: Peak Performance Buoyancy, UW Navigation, Night Dive, Deep Dive, and a combination of Wreck, UW Photo and DPV. Since I forgot my housing for my camera rig, Jeff was kind enough to lend his Sealife DC500, camera alone, no strobe. Christina and I snapped a few pics on the platform before the camera locked up. Later in the dive the camera cooperated again but our group had separated by that point so I snapped a couple of pics of a bass and Dave & Arlene. Another banner weekend at our local dive site, despite the very large crowds and diminished vis, we had a memorable time! 5 dives, 4:14 in the water!
